Some stuff I do over lunch break, again. Am thinking about putting a large sign on my desk every time I do one of these since people would randomly come up and ask if I'm working on some project they're unaware of. *sigh*
They're just your average, run of the mill studies, yo.

The Apple Bunch.

Hmm these types of studies might look boring to some folks..but they're pretty fun to do, if only to whip my skills to shape. Now the first one I did looks uglier than the rest of the family, hahahah. Maybe I'll try to be adventurous tomorrow and paint an orange instead.

LOLcandy

My thanks for my teacher John Clapp. Without him teaching us about the necessary patience (and pain!) of painting, I would've thrown my tablet midway.
But as always, focus on the process instead of the result.

I pilfered this gold wrapped candy from the workplace of the Giangs twins and miss Chrystal, since apparently there's an overflowing bowl of them sitting nicely on the lobby desk.

And yes, I'll be posting stuff other than studies soon...once I have the time to finish some pieces that have been woefully neglected. =__=

I say tomahtoes, you say tomathoes...

Haven't had time to practice recently since I've been hecka busy at work..but hopefully I'll have more time to do more soon.

more silliness....

It's lunchtime! which means there are more silly drawings to be had.
Here's one of my coworkers who graciously let me draw him as a pseudo tiny monster house pet, complete with fancy gold frame. Thanks, Marv! XD

Lunch break

This is actually a real machine that I found reference for on the web. I've seen the shape used before on mech concepts, so it's interesting to see the object base.
Funny enough, I can see a bit of Neil Campbell Ross's influence once I was done with this doodle. I did an assignment in school using him as a style guide, and I guess it's true what they say about retaining your influences. Huh.

poogle

A quick 15 min study..I have one of these on my desk at work. It's a poogle figure from Monster Hunter, and the sheep costumed one happens to be my favorite. Hee.

Teapot LOL

Trying to get a better handle on metal objects..I think I'll try to do this one more time.
